Love this seat! Much more then I thought it would be !
I brought this seat for my 1 year old. He loved that he was able to see outside , because it's so high. He doesn't even care that he is still rear-facing( and probably will be until his 2nd birthday or until I can get away with it). The seat over all is worth the money . The other day I got a thumbs up from a guy who must know about the Recaro racing seat line and thought it was cool I had this seat for my son. Thanks Recaro for making one of the most safe car seats in the world!

Infants, start your engines!!!
Our son has been enjoying his Pro-Ride since he was about 3 months old. He doesn't get upset as quickly in this compared to those infant-bucket type seats, and he really seems to enjoy the high vantage point the seat affords him. Also, the fabric makes fun (for him) noises as he sratches it with his fingernails.

This seat fits fine in my Subaru WRX while still leaving the front seat useable.

The only caveat is this: much like all car seats, it's a bit of work to get it installed PERFECTLY with no movement. I used a rolled up towel to get the angle exactly right (used a spirit-level to verify) and I used all my body weight to tighten things down (180lbs +). With a little effort, it's like a comfy Rock of Gibralter.

At any rate, our second Pro-Ride is on the way -- he's outgrown the infant bucket that we have in my wife's car.
